Cheadle is to host its first ever repair cafe, organised by Moorlands Climate action, with the support of a number of other partners. If you've not been to a repair cafe before, you can bring items which need fixing (see poster) and experts will be on hand to help get your item back in good shape. This nifty concept helps save items from landfill, and save us money too. Plus there is always cake and community at a repair cafe event. 

If you have skills you think the repair cafe can use please come along on the day and register your interest,  or if you are unable to come please let us know and we'll pass your details forward. It's hoped that we can set up some sort of regular event if this is successful.
